Okay, so I don’t know about y’all but with this COVID mess putting places out of business this recipe quickly became a MUST have for my pregnant ass. Prior to COVID I could conveniently take a short 20 minute drive to get that delicious warm assortment of meat and flavors in my mouth! Unfortunately for me, that location is now closed. Now the nearest one is about an hour an ten away….if traffic is light.

It took about four attempts of tweaking to find something close to their delicious sub! As time goes on, I will continue to tweak as needed and update y’all, but for now….this is pretty stinkin close……and did I mention how easy it is????

So without further ado……..

Ingredients

  • Hawaiian Deli Ham
  • Genoa Salami
  • Pepperoni
  • Provolone cheese
  • your choice of bread…we like the Hawaiian sweet rolls though

  • spear pickles *optional*
  • shredded lettuce *optional*

For those of you who are visual….

Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. slice your bread in half, then lay it in a baking dish
  3. put ham, salami, pepperoni, and cheese across every bottom piece of bread
  4. put your banana peppers on top of the cheese
  5. place the top buns on
  6. melt butter and add in Italian seasoning, brush this on top of the buns *important to brush to avoid soggy bread*
  7. bake for 30 minutes, covered
  8. pull out of the oven, and carefully remove the top buns
  9. add mayo, deli mustard, onion slivers, and lettuce
  10. replace tops of bun, serve with a pickle spear on the side
